Do you design and build high-impact learning experiences that enable the learner to achieve goals and improve outcomes? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a creative and experienced Learning Experience Designer to join the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team.
As Sr. Learning Experience Developer, you will partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to produce learning modules, training material, and multimedia content that educate the AWS field. Your work will be instrumental in driving awareness and adoption of the Private Pricing Program among AWS sellers and, in turn, end customers who are coming along their cloud journey with AWS.
Key job responsibilities
• Define and drive a full learning curriculum aligned with the overall training strategy and business goals
• Author storylines and create storyboards and scripts, in partnership with content strategists and subject matter experts
• Produce effective and time-frugal training material and content such as online/e-learning modules, job aids, online tutorials, and multimedia content
• Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders, and work efficiently across time zones and functions
• Own the curriculum’s full lifecycle to create, evaluate, and update content as needed to ensure integrity of material
• Self-manage projects and roadmaps, and continuously inspect prioritization and impact of output to optimize for impact
• Ensure a high bar for content accuracy, usability, and presentation (e.g., proper grammar, adhering to brand guidelines).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, writing and development
- 3+ years of experience using data and metrics to inform and drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master or Advanced Degree in English, Communications, Content Strategy, or a related field.
- Exceptional editorial background with exceptional proofreading and content creation skills.
- Experience in driving complex large-scale content projects end to end independently and by collaborating with other teams.
- Experience in developing or editing multimedia (images, videos).
- Experience in content authoring tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
