Amazon is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Manager to support the growth of our Strategic Partnership Engagement team.

As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of AWS across strategic business partners. You will be responsible for driving top of the line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across all market segments through partner engagement. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with field sales reps. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to convey compelling value propositions. You will leverage your management and leadership capabilities to identify and manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive joint partnership and business plan. You will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment and will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for delivering results. You will work with cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and marketing, to execute achievement against partner goals.

Key job responsibilities
• Advise customers and commercial sales teams on the value of partners and align partners with the AWS sales teams to drive successful sales outcomes
• Expand existing AWS footprint, as well as drive new customer engagements with partners to grow overall revenue with a focus on business outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build input-focused project plans for achievement of key measures.
• Communicate program status updates to stakeholders and business leaders through various governance mechanisms.
• Plan and create standardized reporting, performance metrics, and operational process optimization.
• Drive and provide business insights for deep dives in business reviews.
• Building and maintaining relationships with partner teams and internal AWS stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years experience working with Global System Integrators, Consulting Companies, or ISV partners through Alliance Management, Account Management, Program Management and Business Development engagements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
- Experience with technology transformation initiatives
- 10+ years’ experience working directly at or with AWS Partners through Alliance Management, Account Management, Program Management and Business Development engagements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
