The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves, learn the intricacies of AWS Investments Platform, understand the road map for launch of features, and have an appreciation for the different user personas of the tool. To do this effectively, the Senior Sales Operations Support Analyst should have deep understanding of the sales organization and sales operations in order to surface information and insights, and drive the orchestration required to make optimal business decisions.
Key job responsibilities
Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including partnering closely with AWS Investment Product and Engineering team as “voice of the customer” to ensure solutions are developed to solve and automate customers requests.
Manage business exceptions and escalations – Liaison with key stakeholders to resolve inter regional, business unit, segment and geo exceptions and escalations.
Exhibits sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results Proactively identify and implement data (and operational) improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
Retrieve and evaluate data using Excel, Salesforce.com, and other data management/BI systems.
Hands on data mining and to execute on projects.
Organization and communication skills & Excellent writing skills.
Ability to learn new tools quickly.
Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
An ability to work well and productively, projecting a positive outlook in a sometimes intense environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or related field
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong and effective written and oral communication to convey findings, with a track record of presenting to senior management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail; able to execute and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of Salesforce, SQL, Python and manipulating large data sets
- Able to operate in a lean, fast-paced organization—turning ideas into concrete action plans
- Able to develop strong and productive relationships across peer organizations that foster collaboration and best practice sharing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
