AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Our team is looking for a talented Program Manager to execute and improve the Tech Builder Progression mechanism. Your work will directly contribute to making the Cloud Sales Center (CSC) Tech organization the talent flywheel for the AGS Tech field teams. You deliver business value by effectively and efficiently match the builders who are ready to move to the next phase of their career with the AGS Tech field team that is hiring. You will create communications to increase awareness of the Builder talent pipeline, work with hiring teams on identifying the best fit for the role, inspect your mechanisms by getting feedback, and create assets to scale the progression mechanisms.

The ideal candidate for this role understands how to build mechanisms, manage different communication channels, get feedback from stakeholders, and is excellent at Earning Trust.

Your super power is attention to detail, clear and concise communications, and ability to deal with ambiguity. Your customers are SA Managers, Leader of Leaders, CSC Tech Leaders of Leaders, and the CSC Builders.

This role should be seated in Seattle, WA. Austin, TX may be considered for the right candidate.

Key job responsibilities
• Execute and refine the existing Tech Builder Progression mechanism.
• Build communication campaigns/program to increase awareness of the Tech Builder Progression mechanism across Leadership, Hiring Team, and Builders.
• Create, manage, and report on progression metrics
• Communicate to a wide range of stakeholders from Builders to Executives
• Partner with the Operations team on capacity planning and forecasting

The AWS Global Sales Tech North America Untapped Talent Program team (UTP) is responsible for building Builders for the technical community (Solutions Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, etc.) at AWS. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of program/project management experience
- 1+ year of experience working cross functionally and influence in a matrix environment
- Experience with Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience supporting Managers and Leader of Leaders across a matrix environment
- Experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve program performance

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $111,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
