Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) is hiring a principal product manager to lead product management for the EC2 Console. Amazon EC2 enables customers of all sizes to run their applications on our industry leading cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a seasoned principal product manager to set the vision and deliver on the next generation management experience for EC2 customers. Millions of customers, from individual developers to large enterprises, use the EC2 console to provision, manage and monitor their cloud infrastructure. For many customers, EC2 is their introduction to AWS, and the console is their primary interface to accomplish a wide variety of tasks. As the leader of the most widely used console in AWS, you'll partner closely with EC2 engineering, UX, other product management leaders in EC2 and the broader AWS service leaders to guide our product strategy for the console, and elevate the console experience for EC2 customers. This is a highly visibility and high impact role with all levels of AWS leadership, where you will raise the bar for ease-of-use, feature richness and scalability of our customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA and/or Masters in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics
- Technical breadth and depth including familiarity with software-defined networking, virtualization, public cloud and generative AI.
- Experience delivering high quality technology products/services in a scale up environment where priorities can shift rapidly
- Experience in driving a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented team
- Experience driving a technical global product and team with end to end inbound and outbound product responsibilities
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skill.
- Prior experience working as a software developer or UX designer.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
