The Learning Experience Designer (LxD) Center of Excellence team is looking for an LxD to develop bar-raising learning solutions for our worldwide field. In this role, you will work on instructional design projects that utilize your expertise in learning theory, instructional technologies, and human performance technology to enhance the performance of the field. The solutions you create will enable improved customer experience, shorten lead times to proficiency, and provide support at the point of need. This includes performing needs assessments to identify learning objectives with business stakeholders, designing, testing, and rapidly iterating instructional content for your audience, and developing knowledge and performance observation assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training. As an LxD you will own the design of learning solutions while supporting multiple learning programs across the Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE) portfolio. Candidates should have experience working autonomously across multiple global locations, expertise in developing and maintaining strong business relationships, collaborating across different fields of expertise, and implementing learning project plans. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment and develop innovative solutions.

Key job responsibilities
•Work with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop engaging AWS Field learning content as part of a blended learning strategy
•Partner with cross-functional teams to build out development experiences with a global mindset
•Manage multiple curricula development projects simultaneously
•Develop training materials that align to various delivery strategies, including and not limited to: eLearning, instructor led (ILT), virtual (vILT), video scripting, static assets (job aids, resource guides, intranet pages, etc.)
•Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed


This position must be able to sit onsite a minimum of 5 days per week started on January 2, 2025.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of design experience
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences, including storyboarding, content development, and assessment creation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in storyboarding
- Experience working across teams and synthesizing feedback from multiple teams/owners
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to interact with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
