The Global Enablement Programs leader is responsible for working backwards from the field needs to define the enablement strategy within a highly matrixed organization. They ensure relevance and adoption of our global roster of programs, continue to evolve and develop state-of-the-art enablement programs, and scale new programs, all whilst hiring and developing the best builders and leaders within the organization.
In this role, you will be a core member of the WWFE leadership team. You will be part of a team that has high visibility and drives significant customer impact. Your team will reach thousands of employees each year and will help them create bar-raising experiences for their customers.
The successful candidate will have experience leading teams (either within or outside of Amazon), have demonstrated a history of solving ambiguous problems, and have experience building impactful, large-scale global programs for thousands of employees. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of cloud concepts (preferably with a strong technical foundation), decision-making experience for multi-million-dollar investment decisions at a corporate level, and be conversant with emerging technology (most notably in the generative AI space).
Key job responsibilities
• Lead the Global Enablement Programs team, including setting the vision and ensuring strong adoption and execution of WWFE programs.
• Act as a core member of the WWFE Leadership team, helping to shape the strategy and direction of the organization.
• Own core foundational enablement programs, including Onboarding, quarterly enablement, prospecting, role-based enablement for Managers and Sales Operations, and Solutions and Services; specifically generative AI.
• Own and evolve the field enablement framework and certification program.
• Collaborate across WWFE and stakeholder teams to efficiently leverage resources and work backwards from field needs to build best-in-class enablement programs
• Provide thought-leadership and shape the direction of new enablement programs.
• Develop team members through coaching and mentoring to deliver industry-leading programs to our 40,000+ field-sellers.
• Engage with leaders across AWS to build trust in the work WWFE does, acting as a member of the extended leadership team for some organizations.
• Own the global roll out, adoption, and continuous improvement of WWFE programs.
• Support communications, integration, and application of WWFE programs globally.
• Own and deliver regular business reviews and operational plans including MBRs, MMRs and OP1/OP2 for your business
• Hire and develop a high performing and connected team, including performance management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience building scalable enablement programs for field teams of 1,000 or more
• 10+ years of experience in enablement, sales strategy, sales operations, business development or program management in a mid-to-large scale company with increasing influence and responsibility
• 8+ years of experience leading teams
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, JD, Ph.D, Masters equivalent)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Strategic thinker that can take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions and measurable metrics and then execute those plans.
• Proven experience of leading, motivating and developing future talent
• Proven ability to lead and manage at senior levels without direct authority
• Experience working with, and/or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies, digital transformation initiatives across various industries.
• Experience of emerging technologies (especially generative AI)
• Exhibits sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership and leading data backed analyses.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences across all levels of the organization.
• A fast-thinking, high-energy individual with a sense of humor and ability to work with a wide range of personalities will thrive in this role.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $157,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
