AWS is seeking an Optimization and Licensing Assessment ("OLA") Enablement Manager with the business savvy, technical background, and skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for enterprise solutions.

As an OLA Enablement Manager, you are at the forefront of generating demand for migration assessments and empowering field teams to effectively deliver these assessments through AWS teams and Partners. Your primary goal is to scale AWS assessments, ensuring they provide the essential data customers need to make informed migration decisions.


Key job responsibilities
As an OLA Enablement Manager you will be a key member of our specialized go-to-market team focused on driving adoption of Microsoft platform products on the secure, global AWS infrastructure. In this highly visible role, you will:


- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions that equip AWS field sales teams and partners with the knowledge and skills to conduct comprehensive migration and licensing assessments for customers.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to strategize on generating demand for these assessments, positioning them as a critical step in a customer's cloud journey.
- Explore innovative ways to streamline the delivery of assessments and enhance their comprehensiveness, such as by working with vendors to incorporate new discovery features.
- Evaluate customer and internal team feedback to continuously refine assessment methodologies, ensuring they evolve to meet changing market demands.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to AWS field teams and partners on Microsoft licensing solutions, including guidance for customer scenarios such as agreement renewals and optimization strategies for licensing cost savings through cloud migration.
- Work cross-functionally to create strategic plans that help customers reduce their dependency on commercial software and migrate to cloud-based services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelors degree or equivilent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7-10 years software licensing, product/programmanagement or business development experience in software industry.
- Fluency with Microsoft Licensing, including Volume Licensing. Nice to have: Oracle Licensing experience.
- Ability to define/build/deploy sales, business development, and go to market strategies.
- Experience engaging in senior-level customer meetings to discuss customers’ business issues and helps customers achieve business outcomes.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
