AWS Infrastructure Services Supply Chain (AIS-SC) team is searching for a bright and ambitious individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Manager (SCM). The role is a member of the AIS-SC InfraOps Planning & Sourcing (IPS) team and will be responsible for planning and replenishing spare parts inventory required for break-fix at the Data Centers. This will include managing Inventory levels including procurement and re-balancing inventory, implementing and re-engineering processes/best practices to deliver availability and inventory targets.
This position will conduct spares inventory planning and determine procurement requirements and will interface with vendors and other key members of AIS-SC and AWS Infrastructure Services to ensure supply chain continuity. The SCM is the primary contact with Logistic, Data Center Operations and Engineering teams for all inventory management related activity to achieve both delivery service excellence and maximize supply chain efficiency to our internal partners. This key role will ensure effective interaction with AIS-SC, Hardware Engineering and Network teams for spare parts requirements & supply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Replenishing Server and Networking spares requirement at the Data Centers for US using IPS Planning tools
- Addressing day to day tactical and strategic supply chain issues and working with the respective teams to take necessary actions
- Engage with Data Center Operations, Internal Logistics, Vendors and other Internal stakeholders to fulfill the spares requirement at the Data Centers
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, and has strong attention to detail. You must be able to work independently and generate high-quality work products in an ambiguous environment. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will be required to work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Planning, Business Management, or related field.

. 2+ years of relevant experience within supply chain demand/inventory planning.

. 1+ years of experience with SQL and advanced MS-Excel tools such as macros, v-lookup and pivot tables.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


· Ability to maintain key operational metrics that measure supply chain performance driving continuous improvement.

· Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,500/year in our highest geographic market.
