Our AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for a results-oriented leader to manage and lead the team responsible for the operational support, performance management, supplier development, and lifecycle management of key AWS compute and networking self-build products. In this role you will lead internal engagements across Supply Chain, Engineering and Business organizations while diving deep into the technologies and operations both from a product and Supply Chain perspective. You will work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Product operations, Hardware engineering, Tooling Engineering, Manufacturing Design Engineering, DFx, Test Engineering and other cross-functional teams to develop. You will analyze trends involving the industry players – vendors, customers, and technology to develop strategies to secure supply, reduce cost, minimize risk, and utilize emerging opportunities, allowing AWS to meet and exceed its goals.
Main responsibilities
1. Own the supply chain and sourcing activities for AWS CPU, GPU and FPGAs including negotiating commercial agreements, negotiating cost, optimizing the collaboration between the teams and developing long term strategy to grow a robust partnership.
2. Own Supply Chain and Operations Management activities with our Compute partners to include Order/Change Management, Supply Demand (Supplier commit), commit to plan analysis & reconciliation, business process operations/tools, logistics, Cost/Price Negotiation, Risk Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Capacity Planning, and allocation to Servers Manufacturing partners.
3. Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and drive resolution to systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-times.
Manages the supplier relationship leading and coordinating efforts to drive supplier performance improvement across all areas of the business.

Manage the Commercial relationship with Intel, AMD, NVIDIA.
Work internally with EC2 product managers to understand customer requirements and ODM managers to make sure they get supply allocation to build the racks to be delivered to data center
About the team
The team manages most of the components that go into all servers and networking equipment ( i.e. SSD, DRAM, CPUs, GPU etc). We partner with HW Engineering and internal customers such as EC2 and EBS to define AWS future HW roadmaps. The Compute products : CPU, GPU and FPGA are key definitional hardware to our platforms.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- 10+ years of driving growth through and with cross-functional teams including inside sales, technical, marketing, segmentation, legal (contracts) experience
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience supporting market and insights related to cloud computing and IT or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
