They will be the single interface between the AWS infrastructure organization and the AWS service businesses including Networking, EC2, S3, and EBS. They will manage and come up with mitigations to changes in demand and supply availability in the 13 weeks delivery horizon. They will collaborate with infrastructure procurement, manufacturing, transportation, datacenter operations, and datacenter planning teams to coordinate, advocate, and execute programs and business processes that drive more reliable and faster delivery.
They will work closely with the supply chain systems and automation teams to improve existing systems and develop and launch new systems to improve delivery reliability and speed. They will own and operationalize multiple infrastructure leadership level goals in their areas and regularly report to leadership on their progress. They will own delivery metrics, and provide visibility of performance to a variety of internal teams.
The right candidate is a supply chain, operations, or planning subject matter expert with exceptionally high judgement and a proven track record of successfully operationalizing complex and ambiguous processes to improve performance and reliability. They have experience mechanistically and systematically scaling operations and or planning. The ideal candidate will have a results-orientated approach, manufacturing, supply chain or general operations experience, strong analytical skill set, financial acumen, and proven ability to manage teams through multiple complex projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years’ experience as a leader of leaders: leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Effective business acumen, including the ability to set vision and mechanistically execute to it, setting ambitious goals and operationally delivering them
• Strong experience in business-process design and the development and implementation of supply chain processes and systems
• Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
• Ability to influence cross-functionally across both technical and business functions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in server and/or networking supply chain
• Experience in Data center delivery and architecture
• Track record of identifying and executing on innovative supply chain reliability projects
• Experience managing supply chain projects against plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met
• Experience working with procurement teams managing supply

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $233,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
