In this role, you will partner with Kuiper's Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team, Amazon Devices Global Logistics, and other teams to build and launch Kuiper's global fulfillment capabilities. We are looking for a self-starter, excited to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment, and who is able to successfully work with others to deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Effectively build cross-functional relationships to assess and influence the implementation of systems and tools to support Kuiper customer terminal logistics
- Develop, implement and monitor key financial metrics to ensure strong controllership of logistics costs, and provide insights on how these impact Kuiper’s short- and long-term financial performance
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Build financial models to assess new business initiatives, and provide actionable recommendations to drive data-informed decision-making
- Educate business partners on financial and operational trade-offs, exercising sound judgement in ambiguous situations with limited or challenging data
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of identifying and implementing opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining, data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, MS Power Query, SQL, Python, Tableau)
- Prior experience or knowledge of supply chain management, and/or telecommunications industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
