Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Production Scheduler will work within the Kuiper Propulsion Manufacturing (MFG) team in the development, operation, and optimization of electric propulsion MFG infrastructure. This person will be responsible for the planning and execution of development and production efforts that will eventually lead us to high-rate production

You will work with cross functionally between Engineering and Operations to ensure internal and external timelines and requirements are achieved.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with Engineering teams, suppliers, and other Kuiper teams to ensure internal and external requirements are met for the development and production of the propulsion system.
- Support the delivery of the completed and tested units to final integration
- Work with industry leading suppliers to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products
- Create plans that have clear, measurable success criteria, and clearly communicate progress and outcomes with leadership
- Relentlessly simplify and demonstrate significant innovation, creativity, and good judgment when solving challenging problems
- Drive best practices on the team, deal with ambiguity and competing objectives, and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
- Write effective narratives and present them concisely and effectively to senior management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
