Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of over 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We're seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead and drive strategic supply chain initiatives for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing and procurement across Project Kuiper's satellite constellation program. This role will be instrumental in building and scaling our PCB supply chain to support the production of thousands of satellites.


Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive PCB supply chain strategies to support high-volume satellite production while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation
• Lead strategic supplier selection, qualification, and relationship management for complex, high-reliability PCB manufacturing
• Drive technical alignment between design teams, manufacturing partners, and quality engineering to optimize PCB manufacturability and yield
• Establish and oversee sophisticated supply chain monitoring systems to ensure continuity of critical PCB components and materials
• Create and manage contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, including multi-sourcing strategies and geographical risk diversification
• Partner with systems engineering and hardware teams to influence PCB design decisions that impact supply chain resilience
• Lead cross-functional programs to qualify new PCB technologies and manufacturing processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Deep technical understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, materials, and quality requirements for space-grade electronics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
