The Controls Technician will work closely with mechanical and controls engineering teams to implement industrial automation and control equipment for the success of Project Kuiper.

About the team
The Kuiper Tooling Operations (KTO) team is responsible for commissioning tooling and automation equipment for Satellite testing and production. This is a team of engineers and technicians to provide in-house unique and creative solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years working experience with installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial controls equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years experience with reading, interpreting, and executing electrical schematics and drawings
- 1+ years experience with general electrical safety practices such as lock-out / tag-out, PPE, etc. for system up to 480 VAC
- Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or certificate in a related field
- 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment, using basic hand and power tools
- Experience with motor wiring, commissioning, tuning, and troubleshooting including Variable Frequency Drives and Servo Control
- Experience in electrical control layout design and schematic

The base pay for this position ranges from $79,040/year in our lowest geographic market up to $93,600/year in our highest geographic market.
