Key job responsibilities
• Precisely clean and inspect aerospace hardware using specialized techniques and equipment
• Ensure components meet strict quality standards before assembly or further processing
• Utilize specialized cleaning solutions and methods for intricate parts with tight tolerances
• Adhere to strict quality standards and maintain accurate documentation
• Handle hazardous materials following proper safety protocols in a cleanroom environment
• Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly
• Identify equipment requirements and process improvements
• Manage floor stock inventory
• Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet company deliverables
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Contribute to improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
Work Schedule:
Standard shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (may vary based on program needs) Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as required

A day in the life
The successful candidate will have experience cleaning tight tolerance aerospace components. The desired candidate will have experience in a fast paced machining environment.
About the team
The Kuiper machine shop provides development fabrication capabilities as well as future production machining. These operations occur in our Redmond facilities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing experience or or equivalent industry experience
- 1+ machine shop experience/cleaning experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirement
- Experience working with MES software packages
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Hands on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches, etc..)

The base pay for this position ranges from $81,120/year in our lowest geographic market up to $87,360/year in our highest geographic market.
