Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Kuiper Business is seeking an experienced Program Manager to own business processes and time bound projects that improve the consumer customer experience.

In this role, you are prepared to drive forward annual planning processes (budget, goal management, QBR, and regular reporting to external teams). You think strategically, have strong writing and communication skills, and you are comfortable partnering with functional and cross-functional leaders on initiatives, actions, and operational activities. As we move closer to launch Kuiper services, this role will additionally support time-bound projects to enter new Kuiper markets.

Key job responsibilities
- Create and manage key reports and mechanisms to regularly inspect consumer business performance
- Analyze business performance, including defining and tracking KPIs, issue identification and resolution in support of organizational goals
- Lead organizational projects that drive down consumer risk and advance Kuiper readiness for specific regional markets
- Drive operational optimization and efficiency, maintaining and improving rhythm of business tools and processes

About the team
The Cross-functional Management Organization (XMO) works within the consumer business and across Kuiper to ready operations for launch in 2025. We mutually support each other to ensure programs continue to iterate and mature. Every day is exciting and different at Kuiper, and this team keeps each other energized for the mission.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 3+ years of leading large complex programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
