Amazon is looking for a Human Resources Partner (HRP) to support the Project Kuiper organization. This role will be a member of the dynamic Core Services People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team. This team provides both strategic and hands on HR support to the business and is instrumental in restructuring HR functions, processes, and systems to deliver efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency by enhancing manager capabilities while maintaining employee experience.

This HRP role will directly support the growing manufacturing and operations organization within Kuiper and will advise multiple senior leaders across regions/businesses, providing subject matter expertise in the areas of talent development, performance management, employee relations, and insights related retention and performance, while educating to enhance manager capability and self-service.

Key job responsibilities
- Make high judgement decisions with some guidance and have the ability to operate with autonomy and discretion.
- Provide guidance and coaching to business leaders with a goal of enhancing their manager capabilities and giving them the tools to be great managers
- Partner with central teams to improve processes and influence product development
- Implement mechanisms to enable business leaders to achieve key goals.
- Leverage business knowledge to inform and achieve HR performance goals to positively impact business deliverables, efficiency, and profitability
- Contribute to the identification of broader themes in performance related matters, employee development, and retention; identify root causes, take action, and coach managers
- Evaluate existing HR structures, processes, and systems and identify opportunities for centralization and streamlining, and sharing feedback and influencing Amazon and D&S teams.
- Support the implementation of standardized HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to upskill HR teams and promote adoption of new processes and systems.
- Understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of relevant HR experience
- Experience with hourly populations and employee relations
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master’s Degree is preferred
- HR experience supporting hourly populations in a fast-paced Operations or Manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to sustain HR and people programs during times of change
- Hands-on leader who is continually and deeply engaged in the business to understand the current and future talent needs and to be able to provide insight on the health of the organization
- Has a data driven approach with strong analytics and the ability to create the right people metrics and implement solutions to drive positive change
- Possesses a mix of intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and pragmatism
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while continually moving initiatives forward.
- Must be able to interface at executive levels of the organization.
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $130,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
