The Test Engineer will support both development and production testing of satellites, and their subsystems. The focus for this role will be in dynamics testing - both vibration table and acoustics. You will work with the designers, systems engineers and analysts to construct detailed work instructions for technicians performing environmental test operations. This role will be responsible for supporting the test team to ensure that tests are conducted in compliance with industry standards as well as internal work instructions. This includes reviewing post-test data, and performing root cause corrective actions for any failures. Project Kuiper is seeking several experienced Value Stream Leaders to lead high-volume production operations at Kuiper’s satellite production facility in Kirkland, WA. Kuiper’s constellation will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.The Value Stream Leader will be the single-threaded owner responsible for one of 3 organizations that manufacture the top level assemblies of the Kuiper Satellite. The Manager’s responsibilities will include defining and implementing the strategic vision for each value stream, and will be responsible for the daily operations of the value stream. We are currently in research and development but moving towards production environment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent- 4+ years relevant aerospace manufacturing experience- 4+ years of hands-on work experience Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and/ or Harness Integration experience- 4+ years experience in a fast-paced production environment with Flight Hardware- 4+ years of hand on experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices (i.e., automated and manual torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, multi-meters, torque wrenches)Additional Requirements:- Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times 1st shift: 6:00AM-4:30PM Wed-Sat.
