Key job responsibilities- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflow.- Collaborate with various stake holders to remove project obstacles.- Maintain lab stability by triaging testbed failures.- Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low to mid-level application interaction.- Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.- Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.- Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.A day in the lifeA typical day involves:- Maintaining the lab via automated health checks. - You will identify why testbeds failed these checks and perform necessary triage.- Building of testbeds for increased test capacity, next generation platforms that power AWS, and one-off customer requests.- Support of our remote networking labs.- You are encouraged to implement mechanisms and streamline processes to improve lab workflows.We own everything from our core infrastructure, lab testbeds, budgeting, and capacity planning for future growth. There is no shortage of career growth opportunities.We are continuously expanding our footprint and work with various teams to design and implement new lab locations.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- AS/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking, or relevant IT field- 2+ years of success in any two of the following IT roles (Computer Hardware Repair, InfrastructureCabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, Technical Project Management)- 2+ years of success working with networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and their operating systems (Cisco IOS, JUNOS, Linux, etc.)- Strong understanding of networking across all layers (Layer 1–7), with expertise in physical infrastructure, switching, and routing.- Deep knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and other dynamic routing protocols. ...
