As we continue to rapidly grow our yard footprint and infuse the organization with new talent, we need to ensure the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network wide process improvements. The team will utilize tools to understand process control and establish process understanding with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, building and region, by driving standard operating procedures to deliver strong performance.
The team will also work closely with PE, Benchmarking and Quality teams within NAST ACES to identify and define the input metrics for each of the process paths to prioritize and channel resources to address gaps in these input metrics.
As a Senior Quality Manager, CI Initiatives, you will be responsible for identifying the opportunities across all process paths in your yards, prioritizing the improvement opportunities and partnering with NAST stakeholders to successfully execute.
This role requires either Green or Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certification and an ability to demonstrate ownership within your process path performance, interpret data, and lead through influence to deliver meaningful results translating to tangible productivity and efficiency gains across the NAST network.
The ideal candidate is someone experienced with leading Lean initiative and Kaizen trainings across a variety of groups and teams, including developing and implementing cross functional based programming to improve and optimize the overall group.
This role will require up to 50% travel to the various NAST yards across the continental United States.

• Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the NAST yards to proactively identify process improvement opportunities within your assigned process path
• Develop and implement detailed standard operating procedures to support daily operations within optimized operating window for each fulfillment process
• Partner with operational leaders within Transportation Operations Management (TOM)/ Fulfillment Center (FC) to execute implementation of process improvements driving stabilization and standardization
• Deliver coaching and process path information to operational leaders within TOM as it relates to your respective process paths to support reduction of variation in process standards and knowledge gaps
• Execute, measure and support communication of project impacts in partnership with the site leaders responsible for day to day operations
• Work with cross-functional teams such as Benchmarking, Learning, Quality and TOM Operations to deliver development projects
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to NAST yards across the continental United States

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market.
