In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our business trajectory by concentrating on developing sales and operational goals, crafting revenue forecasts, owning the forecasting model development, establishing KPI benchmarks, creating sales goals, and building out reporting processes. Through these efforts, you will drive sales strategies, enhance contribution margins, and elevate business efficiency through the lens of analytics and data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying growth opportunities, streamlining operations, and instituting benchmarks to propel our business into its next phase of expansion.
Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with leaders and cross-functional teams spanning sales, operations, sales operations, finance, pricing, BI and product. While proficiency in data systems is essential, we are seeking an individual who can transcend mere data access and instead leverage analytics to devise innovative strategies and actionable recommendations, overseeing their implementation from inception to fruition.

Key job responsibilities
• Generate insights through advanced analytics and data mining
• Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes
• Develop quantified views of financial inputs and outputs then implement and scale ideas
• Contribute to, develop, and construct models to drive annual and quarterly financial plans and goals
• Partner with stakeholders and leadership in building the business strategy, goals and mechanisms
• Develop a deep understanding of business metrics and reporting tools to provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify and propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards.
• Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to help team achieve objectives
• Growth and Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement or automation in existing business strategies or processes and lead the changes using your business acumen and data. Your strategic vision will drive impactful enhancements to our P&L lines.
• Build data reports and dashboards: Leverage your data skills and technical means (SQL, Excel, etc.) to enable achievement of business efficiency and tangible outcome across critical processes.

• Proactively identify process gaps by analyzing data and anecdotes, propose viable solutions, craft concise and compelling strategies, and assist in the launch of new transportation modes.
• Develop go-to-market plans for launching new business lines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Learning and Development teams to raise the bar on our diverse portfolio of initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work through ambiguities to achieve objectives while communicating progress to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests and escalations as needed.
• Proven track record in program management and launching new startups or business lines from the ground up.
• Strong familiarity with Amazon Freight and the transportation industry.
• Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
• Strategic, creative, and organized, with the ability to balance qualitative and quantitative considerations in decision-making.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling a diverse set of stakeholders to solve significant problems and build scalable programs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Intermediate SQL experience, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, creating stored processes, creating ETL jobs etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Experience in business-process design or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
