As a Senior Program Manager, you will own aspects of the demand planning and capacity allocation across the NA network. You will have the opportunity to interface with multiple stakeholders and create an impact on the Short Term Capacity Planning of the AFP Team. The role focuses on analyzing the problem, proposing strategies, influencing stakeholders (verbally and in writing), removing obstacles and delivering results

Key job responsibilities
You will own all aspects of the Short/Medium/Long term capacity planning including but not limited to:

- Weekly Tractor Allocation, Capacity Management across network, Weekly stakeholder meetings and actions
- Own the deep dives for key metrics and drive actions to improve performance, Own weekly flashes for Capacity Planning
- Own projects assigned across the team
- Collaborate in entitlement studies, tractor purchase decisions, OP and QXG planning
- HVE/Peak/Prime capacity planning

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
