You will be the voice of the customer and responsible for driving a product roadmap to manage the data used for AI model building and ensure the data is handled in compliance with governance requirements. You will have the responsibility of inventing on behalf of our customers and compliance stakeholders, and advocating for their needs throughout design, build, and launch. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring business impact by diving deep into metrics and customer inputs. Key job responsibilities
In this position you will work with the customers, legal and engineering partners to define the requirements for data handling for building AI models across Amazon. You will anticipate customer needs and be informed on data handling trends to define a long term data handling and management strategy to drive the product requirements. You will make high judgement decisions that will have large impact for Amazon and balance between customer experience and compliance. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities. You will have a deep understanding of product design and implementation details and will successfully represent your product to senior leadership and customers.
A day in the life
Given the scope and high level of ownership, you will be challenged to solve governance and customer experience problems every day. You are a business owner and will obsess about raising the customer experience bar while maintaining governance compliance. On a daily basis, you'll have a chance to work with everyone who makes your product successful, including senior leadership, engineers, advocates, data scientists, and more. You will be working with customers to learn about the problems they are trying to solve, understand the data handling requirements and manage the product roadmap. You will bring your product vision to life through PRFAQ's, Business Requirement Documents, and iterating on product decisions with the Science and Technical teams.
About the team
AGI Data Services is a key part of AGI organization that provides data creation, curation, governance and analytics services to help develop, test, and train the AI models. This organization generates ground truth data which is used to train machine learning models. The team works with various data formats such as audio, video, and images, and packages this information to be used in a compliant manner by internal stakeholders including data modeling and product teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
