The Amazon Flex team is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Operations (Ops) Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our marketing automation efforts. The Senior Marketing Ops Manager specializing in Adobe Marketo will be responsible for partnering with regional marketing stakeholders on automation strategies with overall business objectives, overseeing marketing automation operations and driving scalable, data-driven marketing initiatives across all Flex regions. They will play a pivotal role in driving our WW marketing automation efforts. This position requires a deep understanding of Marketo's capabilities and a strategic mindset to optimize its use across all regional marketing teams. They will be responsible for configuring and maintaining complex marketing automation workflows, developing sophisticated lead scoring models, and creating personalized campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences worldwide. Their expertise will be crucial in ensuring data quality, maintaining compliance with international privacy regulations, and continuously innovating our marketing automation strategies. As a leader in this space, they will train and guide regional teams, standardize best practices, and identify opportunities to enhance the scalability and efficiency of our global marketing initiatives. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to elevate our marketing automation capabilities and drive measurable results across the organization.



Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Adobe Marketo and ensure its effective use across all regional marketing teams.
• Configure and maintain marketing automation workflows, email templates, lead scoring models, landing pages, and nurture programs.
• Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to plan, build, and execute campaigns (e.g., email, webinars, lead generation).
• Create and manage advanced segmentation strategies to personalize campaigns for different audiences and regions.
• Oversee data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Train regional marketing teams on Marketo capabilities, campaign optimization, and automation best practices.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence across regions.
• Drive innovation in marketing automation strategies, leveraging new features and technologies within Marketo.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance scalability for global campaigns.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of technology-driven marketing automation and/or operations experience, preferably with a strong focus on Marketo administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce CRM (or other) and integrations with Marketo
- Proficiency in Marketo platform administration, integration, and data management
- Marketo Certified Expert preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices for marketing compliance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong foundational understanding of application development concepts and technologies
- Experience building and using web services and Marketo webhooks
- Knowledge or basic experience of database, working with enterprise data warehouse (Teradata, Big Data), Experience with SQL ETL scripting, SOAP/REST interfaces, stored procedures
- Experience handling and supporting integration between automated marketing platforms and other 3rd party applications.
- Functional understanding of the campaign management process, attribution, measurement, and marketing funnel management.
- Ability to learn and interface with multiple technology domain partners, including vendor teams and internal groups
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and Target is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
