The AmazonLink team in Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) organization owns the worldwide Electronic Integration (EI) solutions enabling business teams across Amazon to seamlessly integrate with their external partners electronically. We develops innovative products and technologies that empower Amazon Retail and Direct Fulfillment programs, streamlining supply chain operations with efficiency and driving the evolution of our supply chain ecosystem.

As a technology leader, you’ll own a team responsible for developing our next-generation self-service integration product. This product features a personalized evaluation system and offers GenAI-guided onboarding experiences, aiming to elevate suppliers’ end-to-end onboarding and integration. Your role includes setting the product vision, driving the technical roadmap, hiring and mentoring top-notch software engineers, and advocating for engineering and operational excellence.


Key job responsibilities
1. Lead a team of software engineers developing and maintaining software that fully automate the suppliers onboarding and integration process.
2. Establish metrics, processes, and frameworks to ensure engineering excellence, rapid iterations, and high-quality software delivery.
3. Raise the bar on technical excellence, demonstrate thought leadership, and communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
4. Leverage strong business and technical judgment to accelerate time-to-market while aligning with team's long-term vision.
5. Represent the technical organization, evangelizing its work to senior leadership.
6. Mentor and develop engineers, fostering their growth and career advancement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
