A day in the life
You'll start your day collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex logistics challenges. You might find yourself designing new APIs to streamline customs processes, optimizing algorithms for efficient route planning, or mentoring junior engineers on best practices. Throughout the day, you'll balance hands-on coding with strategic discussions, always keeping the customer experience at the forefront of your decisions.

Our Global Logistics team is dedicated to building Amazon's global logistics pipeline, enabling seamless product movement worldwide. We're focused on creating innovative solutions that eliminate barriers between buyers and sellers, allowing third-party sellers to expand their businesses into new markets. Our work directly contributes to Amazon's goal of being the most customer-centric company on Earth, setting new benchmarks in logistics and driving multi-year innovations in the field.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
