Amazon is seeking an industry proven and detail oriented Supply Chain Manager to support the World Wide Amazon Logistics Engineering Supply Chain team. This role will lead global supplier development to enable frugal supplier options for the Last Mile automation technologies across EU and NA, driving cost savings through vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supply chain optimization.

Key responsibilities include:
• Research and expand global sourcing model for automation components/systems, securing low-cost and high quality supplier options.
• Define business requirements and vendor selection criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Partner with procurement to negotiate contracts, ensuring key contractual terms including proper IP ownership for the required technologies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable should-cost analysis, value engineering, and cost optimization.
• Drive milestone schedules, mitigate supply chain constraints, and ensure deployment readiness.
• Align warranty, support network, and spare stock needs, ensuring quality after-sale technical support.
• Lead supply chain readiness for existing/approved frugal supplier to deliver safety, ergonomic, and productivity benefits.
• Manage delivery and address feedback for equipment deployment, collaborating with logistics providers and vendors.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- •Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related fields.
- •5+ years experience in international strategic sourcing, supplier development, and supply chain management.
- 5+ years analytical and negotiation skills, with a cost-savings mindset.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics, and vendor management best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree or MBA in relevant fields.
- Specific experience in driving process improvements in procurement, cost engineering.
- Knowledge and experience in warehouse automation engineering and technologies.
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
