We’re looking for a Sr Supply Chain Manager to support our rapidly evolving Amazon Air business, which currently operates an air cargo network using a fleet of Boeing 737, Boeing 767, and Airbus A330 aircraft across more than 50 airports in the US and Canada.

The Sr Supply Chain Manager, AIR Network Planing will be responsible for improving the logic and methodologies of AIR’s package flow and connectivity planning through data analysis, modeling, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The individual will work closely with end users making key business decisions and will help optimize the operation contributing to driving down total cost while improving customer speed and delivery accuracy within the transportation network.


Key job responsibilities
* Lead critical projects and planning cycles that power North America AIR operations to deliver fast, economical, and reliable transportation for customer shipments
* Partner with internal AIR Product Managers and Research Scientists to refine planning technology, tools, and processes, and drive the future tech roadmap for NA connectivity planning
* Improve performance to plan by identifying, measuring and managing key metrics related to Amazon Air. Promote process improvement and standardization of processes across all sites in the network.
* Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Tableau, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
* Participate in long term planning and modeling sessions
* Travel up to 10%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
