The Global Logistics Pricing Strategy team empowers our global business to find strategic harmony between growth and profit tradeoffs, while seeking long-term customer value and financial health. We build tools and processes to help identify and drive synergy among supply, demand, operational, and economic planning.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead Pricing Strategy for Global Logistics new supply chain products. You will develop pricing strategy vision and its corresponding price positioning, market benchmarking, profit analyses, and demand impact. You will also build long-term partnership with Finance and Business stakeholders at all levels and lead high-visibility leadership alignment on pricing strategies.

The right candidate is a self-starter who takes strong ownership, dives into product and Seller value, develops structure/frameworks to tackle problems, and rolls up your sleeves to get the job done in a fast-paced environment. You must have strong stakeholder influence to drive and enable change through compelling insights and data-driven recommendations. This means you should be comfortable with communicating, supporting your points of view, and being vocal on relevant business questions as needed. Ownership, analytical acumen, thoughtful articulation, and ability to influence are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
- Define pricing strategies incorporating product value, customer feedback, market analysis, demand assessment, and profit evaluation.
- Establish performance metrics and implement review mechanisms to continuously improve pricing decisions.
- Collaborate extensively with Sales, Finance, Operations, and BI teams to develop a vision and prioritize the roadmap.
- Drive new pricing launches such as introducing new product values, lanes, and fee structures, while supporting the associated Go-to-Market strategy.
- Identify cost elements influenced by pricing to enhance profitability across products and lanes.
- Assist in global business reviews and pricing narratives (MBR, QBR, 3YP, OP) for Amazon Managed Placement and Storage offerings, and facilitate leadership reviews and discussions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations with a strong background in transportation pricing strategy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Familiarization with Global Logistics industry
- Understanding of P&L that will enable you to develop pricing strategies that contribute to profitability and effectively communicate any implications associated with business decisions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
