Amazon is seeking a (Senior) Program Manager to lead and manage strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects for our Value Added Services programs across North America (US and Canada). The ideal candidate will have a strong delivery record and extensive project management experience, with a proven ability to scope and create project plans, develop processes, coordinate and drive execution, and communicate effectively with senior management on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies. This role is crucial in innovating and enhancing Amazon's last-mile delivery experience, including our growing Delivery Service Provider (DSP) network. The successful candidate will partner with various program and product teams to operationalize high-profile, high-impact business initiatives, manage multiple large-scale projects, outline key milestones, and ensure timely deliverables. Exceptional cross-team coordination, executive communication skills, and a keen sense of innovation are essential for leading complex projects from conception to completion and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive the objectives of Value Added Services programs across the US and Canada by operationalizing launch plans, aligning stakeholders with program details and business requirements, managing implementation activities, and executing the launch of new products and processes.
- Scale services, tools, and processes to support business growth in volume, complexity, and geographic reach while maintaining a high standard for customer experience.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, resolve critical issues, manage escalations, and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy new fleet initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and process excellence.
- Create and distribute comprehensive program/process launch announcements for internal and external stakeholders, including program details, FAQs, and resource guides.
- Advocate for Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and continuously seek to simplify and enhance their experience and that of their drivers.
- Oversee various cross-functional programs to ensure successful delivery, develop and refine program strategies, and effectively lead and motivate teams.
- Set clear objectives for programs, utilizing data analytics to drive improvements and achieve performance metrics.
- Address ambiguities in business scenarios with creative problem-solving skills, collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation, and prioritize projects based on customer needs and technical inputs.
- Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to support key business initiatives and develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for program portfolios to ensure clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
- Manage project budgets effectively and communicate budgetary status as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
