The DP&R team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to establish the non-compliance monitoring system for packaging defect and drive the adoption of defect capture tool Worldwide. You will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and delivering complex programs that involve multiple teams and organizations. Your main responsibility will be to lead important initiatives, process improvements, or changes, ensuring measurable business results through careful planning, effective communication, and robust risk management strategies. You will define program objectives, roadmaps, and strategies that align with the overall business goals and metrics. You will navigate interdependencies, influence priorities, and make data-driven decisions on resource allocation and project prioritization. You will exemplify best practices in program management, fostering constructive dialogue, building consensus among diverse stakeholders, driving clear decisions, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Additionally, you will streamline processes, increase team productivity, and eliminate dependencies that hinder innovation or user satisfaction. Furthermore, you will actively participate in hiring and mentoring initiatives, providing valuable feedback and assessments to nurture talent within the organization.

Key job responsibilities
• Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data, drive improvements that are quantified with metrics, and influence resource allocation.
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks).
• Function as the strategic point of contact to business, operations, tech teams and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with remote global teams in business and technology at senior leadership levels.
• Influence partner teams without authority, to overcome unforeseen obstacles, and drive inventory defect reduction through process improvements and technological solutions
• Exhibit sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong communication skills and analytical thinking skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
