The Defect Prevention and Reconciliation (DP&R) organization aims to build innovative technology products that identify, resolve, and prevent defects from entering Amazon’s fulfillment supply chain. We eliminate operational waste and reduce cost, accelerating our fulfillment processes and improving customer experience. We are building a future where we capture, analyze, and explain every inventory defect across all stages of the supply chain (i.e. inbound, distribution, storage, fulfillment, returns).
If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, know how to deliver, love to work with data, are deeply technical, highly innovative and long for the opportunity to build solutions to challenging problems that directly impact the company's bottom-line, we want to talk to you. We're seeking a experienced Senior Product Manager Tech to spearhead our mission-critical global initiative in Supply Chain Defects Identification.
This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, seller success, and operational excellence, requiring a leader who can navigate complex challenges with clarity and purpose. As the single-threaded owner of this highly visible program, you'll dive deep into the intricate world of inbound supply chain defects, crafting innovative solutions that impact millions of customers and sellers globally. Your mission will be to transform complex supply chain challenges into elegant, seller-facing tools that drive efficiency and accuracy. Your journey will begin with understanding the pulse of our customers, sellers, and internal stakeholders.
Through the art of working backwards from customer needs, you'll architect a compelling vision that resonates across teams. This vision isn't just about solving today's problems – it's about anticipating tomorrow's challenges and opportunities. In this role, you'll orchestrate collaboration across a diverse ecosystem of teams – from tech and data science to finance and business units. Your ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders will be crucial as you guide products from conception to launch. You'll be the conductor of a complex symphony, ensuring every team moves in harmony toward common goals.
Strategic thinking will be at the heart of your work. You'll identify long-term opportunities that others might miss, translating these insights into actionable strategies and roadmaps. Your influence will extend across multiple product lines, where you'll guide teams through the full product lifecycle – from initial ideation through experimentation and successful market launch. Success in this role requires masterful prioritization and decision-making skills. You'll navigate tradeoffs that impact various Amazon organizations, maintaining clear communication channels and ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance both customer experience and business value. This is more than a product management role – it's an opportunity to shape the future of Amazon's supply chain operations, creating lasting impact through innovation and leadership. If you thrive in complex environments and are energized by transformational challenges, this role offers the perfect platform to leave your mark on global commerce.
