Key job responsibilities
• Drive operational and cost efficiency initiatives for the AGI Foundations organization with an emphasis on inference optimization opportunities
• Partner with AGI Foundations leadership on the design and implementation of reporting solutions and key metrics to drive insights and enable quicker and more effective decision making
• Ownership of proactively identifying metric anomalies and highlighting reporting issues and gaps for leadership and partnering with cross-functional teams to determine and implement solutions
• Ad hoc analysis including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of the business and financial models that highlight opportunities and deliver results
• Support monthly close and planning cycles related to AWS inference expenses
A day in the life
This role will support the AGI Foundations organization under Amazon’s AGI business and will drive financial modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis, including creating, maintaining and expanding the scope of models that help drive the business. Given the strategic nature of this business, this is a high visibility role. You will work hand-in-hand with your business partners in the Foundations organization to size opportunities, perform impact analyses, and provides insights and recommendations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including experience in developing financial reports and models
- A self-starter that thrives in a dynamic environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in a business partnering role
- Experience planning and reporting in a corporate finance environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
