Amazon Freight, a pioneering venture within Amazon, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Revenue Planning Operations and Data Analytics Analyst to join our rapidly expanding enterprise. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping our business trajectory by optimizing contribution margin yield, contributing to sales financial models, establishing benchmarks, and refining compliance processes.
As our Revenue Planning Coordinator, you will leverage your data expertise to drive sales strategies, enhance contribution yield margins, and elevate business efficiency through the lens of analytics and data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying growth opportunities, streamlining operations, and implementing benchmarks to propel our business into its next phase of expansion.
Collaboration will be at the heart of this role, as you work closely with cross-functional teams spanning sales, operations, sales operations, finance, pricing, and beyond. Proficiency in data systems and a proven ability to leverage analytics to devise innovative strategies and actionable recommendations are essential.

Key job responsibilities
• Generate insights through cleaning data, creating analytics and data mining
• Implement strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes
• Develop quantified views of inputs and outputs then implement and scale ideas
• Contribute to, develop, and construct models to drive annual and quarterly financial plans and goals
• Partner with stakeholders and leadership in building mechanisms
• Develop a deep understanding of business metrics and reporting tools to provide actionable intelligence
• Contribute to program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to help team achieve objectives
• Growth and Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement or automation in existing business strategies or processes and lead the changes using your business acumen and data.
• Build data reports and dashboards: Leverage your data skills and technical means (SQL, Excel, etc.) to enable achievement of business efficiency and tangible outcome across critical processes.
• Generate ad hoc and monthly recurring analyses for goal tracking and operational performance, driving the rhythm of business
• Quickly deliver on ad-hoc data analysis requests

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Are 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of performing data analysis in MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Quick Sight and using SQL through ETL Jobs and dashboard creation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $35,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
