This role requires the leader to independently own delivery of their goals on investigations, vulnerabilities and other program level deliverables. We are looking for a motivated and capable Analytic, Operations, Metrics, and Process Improvement Manager, with Program or Project management experience. You will work on threats that requires ongoing deep dive to identify the vulnerabilities. As a domain subject matter expert, you will partner with Investigators, Program/Product Managers within RPT, and stakeholders within Amazon to drive medium complexity risk identification and mitigation initiatives, where the business problem and solution may not be well defined. This is a highly visible and impacting role within the group, as well as across the department. You are expected to deliver independently with occasional guidance on (a) strategic intelligence programs to detect threats from multiple channels, (b) scaling mitigation initiatives like Carrier/Driver level enforcements, and (c) understand the risk tolerance levels and make recommendations to partner teams based on data.
KNOWLEDGE OF SQL IS A MUST FOR THIS ROLE.
Key job responsibilities
This is a IC role.
1) Provide data analysis & conduct investigations
2) Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
3) Take appropriate action to identify and help minimize the risk posed by fraud or abuse patterns and trends
4) Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations
5) Understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data
6) Knowledge to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams
7) Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed
8) Written and verbal communication experience, as you will be required to create a narrative outlining your weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these finding in a review forum
9) Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as necessary
10) Partner with cross functional teams across Amazon for collaboration on fraud risks and investigations.
11) Apply risk management best practices to mitigate issues, identify operational inefficiencies and improve processes.
A day in the life
1) Constantly monitor metrics, industry trends and social media chatter to identify deviations, and spot emerging frauds/ MOs that are adopted by bad actors
2) Drive program/ process goals independently with minimal to no intervention from leadership
3) Partner with multiple fraud/abuse teams to learn and implement industry wide best practices and other identity verification mechanisms
4) Manage metrics, prepare WBR callouts and Sr. leadership review summaries
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working on OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) investigations and drafting finished intelligence summaries for Sr. Leadership review
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
