Amazon Air Cargo is seeking a motivated Principal Supply Chain Manager, Carrier Strategy to be a core member of the Air Cargo leadership team. This position will lead the Air Cargo carrier strategy and implementation.
As a Principal Supply Chain Manager, you will work with executive leaders both internally and externally. You will work across key internal teams including carrier operations, procurement, sales, and business. You will define the carrier strategy, the roadmaps and action plan, and will implement. You will be the external face of Air Cargo with carriers and will partner with carriers and internal teams to implement. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. As a multi-discipline leader, working as part of the engineering organization, you will support and finalize many decisions.

- End-to-end ownership of the Cargo carrier strategy, from idea generation to implementation
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in business, operations, technology, and planning to define strategic roadmaps
- Communicate and own the carrier facing implementation of the strategy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 10+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
