Amazon is building the largest EV fleet and charging network in the world as part of our Climate Pledge. We're looking for a Principal PMT to develop the vision, tenets, and strategy for our charging products, and build repeatable processes for roadmap and P0 requirement development. You'll be joining a fast-paced team building global products from zero-to-one. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly customer obsessed, have managed hardware/software products, and worked on teams with multiple interdependencies (including third party vendors and developers). You'll have experiencing in launching multiple global HW products in a consumer or industrial application and leading a program end-to-end with a large team of stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
- Establish a vision for charging hardware and software products, and drive organizational alignment to that vision
- Develop cadence for annual roadmap development and 3-year planning
- Write creative, high quality, long term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
- Build mechanisms for receiving customer feedback and measuring product performance in the field

A day in the life
You'll start the morning by reviewing and commenting on a draft PRFAQ on a new charging feature. Then, you'll meet with an external vendor to discuss development progress towards an important new set of energy management features. In the afternoon, you'll work on a document outlining an annual roadmapping and requirements planning process. Your last call of the day is a deep dive with our engineering team on a key technical requirement.

About the team
The EV Charging Infrastructure and Products team is responsible for accelerating Amazon's Last Mile electrification and facilitating the successful transition of our delivery fleet to achieve net zero-emissions in support of The Climate Pledge. We define EV charging and infrastructure product needs, develop or source solutions to meet those needs, and manage the performance of our EV charging assets post-installation. We are relentless evangelists for our products and technology solutions, and the positive impact they will have on our internal and external customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams and senior level executive teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- - 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- - 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- - 10+ years experience with end to end product delivery
- - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- - Experience as a product manager or owner
- - 10+ years of technical product or program manager experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
