As a Principal, Customer Growth, you will drive new business growth by from DTC brands, ecommerce players, resellers and other Amazon selling partners. You will own the end-to-end strategy and delivery for your team’s customer portfolio. In this role you will develop and execute bespoke growth strategies which include pricing, deal modeling and deal margin KPIs. This is a great opportunity someone with a business builder mindset who will thrive working cross-functionally across Operations, Product, Tech, Pricing and Finance to experiment with new solutions.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop the demand strategy and growth plans to unlock robust growth from onboarded customers across multiple segments.
• Own revenue and profitability goals for new customers for your customer portfolio.
• Develop and implement mechanisms to track demand inputs and improve results.
• Leverage strong command of economic and operational KPIs and ability to dive deep on your portfolio.
• Act as a trusted owner of the commercial revenue strategy with executive stakeholders across Amazon Shipping, Operations, Finance and Legal.
• Lead the internal approvals and senior leadership alignment meetings throughout the different negotiation phases.
• Influence partner teams to unlock new business opportunities and growth across your portfolio.
• Lead with an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of driving growth through and with cross-functional teams including inside sales, technical, marketing, segmentation, legal (contracts) experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- • Exceptionally strong business acumen and financial modeling skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive business cases and pricing strategies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
