Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWRR) team invents bold solutions in sustainable transportation and returns experiences that create trust and value for customers, selling partners, and shippers and benefit people and the planet.

The Worldwide Returns (WW Returns) PMO team collaborates with external product, program, and tech owners across Amazon to ensure they include a well thought out returns and disposition solution and customer returns experience as part of their overall strategy. We own the initiation, prioritization, or termination of work and changes necessary (with external teams) to ensure that external roadmaps, designs, and strategic objectives align with Worldwide Returns strategic goals - "The Four Zeros":

Zero Defects – Collaborate with others to eliminate defects that cause a return.
Zero Cost - Reduce the cost of returns while innovating on the return experience.
Zero Waste - Reuse as many returned and damaged products as possible to reduce waste to landfill.
Zero Carbon – Identify and coordinate actions across businesses to be carbon neutral in ATS by 2040.
On behalf of WW Returns, we own the end-to-end engagement with external teams.

As a Process Specialist you will support the Program Mangement team to enable the delivery of externally driven projects.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will serve as a catalyst to the organization ensuring both the Program Management Office and Worldwide Returns leadership team have the right information at the right time to drive efficient decision making.
*Approve and grant permissions to external team engineers to enable code changes
* Audit project intake
* Manage and support automomation of SIM workflow
* Generate Away Team Program reporting and surface improvement insights
* Compile and publish team monthly flash
* Drive timelines to ensure cross functional inputs are complete and meet a quality bar for key VP level mechanisms (Goal Tracking, Site Visit Tracking)

A day in the life
You will work most closely with the Program Management Office PMs to move projects through the Away Team workflow and identify efficiency opportunities. Through audits and reporting you will help to generate insights that shape the process flow and away team experience.

Additionally, you will work across the Worldwide Returns Organization to collect inputs from business owners for key VP level monthly mechanisms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)
- Experience using data to influence business decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of analytics & statistical tools such as SAS, PowerBI, SQL & ETL DW concepts
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Datazen, SSRS
- Experience back office operations, escalation management and troubleshooting environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $86,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
