The AWS Health organization is looking for an experienced product leader to drive the vision and delivery of our event management services.

Our organization has the charter to build software at the core of AWS by providing proactive insights about the health and availability of AWS services. Customers around the world rely on AWS Health to receive clear and real time visibility when changes or issues affect their AWS resources. Within AWS Health and Event Management, you will work with our teams responsible for the mission-critical tooling that enables incident response. Our number-one goal is to provide relevant, accurate, and timely communication to AWS customers when they need it most.

As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you will own and drive the full product management lifecycle across a set of business critical services and experiences. You will have the opportunity to deliver entirely new experiences through innovative solutions in AI/ML and generative AI. As a member of the AWS Health Product Management team, you will join other expert product and engineering leaders to create the future of event management.

The ideal candidate will be excited to lead the evolution of AWS' event management experience and is deeply passionate about working with great teams that deliver the highest quality services. You are naturally customer centric and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and solid communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
· Lead the definition and execution of the product strategy for AWS Health and Event Management tooling
· Define and gather the necessary inputs to make high-quality product and roadmap decisions
· Work with leaders across AWS, Amazon, and our partners to drive towards our vision
· Define project requirements, priorities, methods for measurement and track their execution and success.
· Communicate with senior management on project status, strategy, risks, and issues.
· Work closely with multiple engineering teams and designers to deliver results to customer.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
