AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
As a Sales Enablement Manager, your focus will be on improving the global AWS field's experience with AWS Support, and the Enterprise Support portfolio specifically. Content and engagement resources help sellers work backwards from the customer, identify use-case based opportunities, and realize greater share of spend by understanding our customers’ businesses and objectives. This role will use data-driven insights to build and continuously simplify the seller experience, connecting sellers with resources they need to close AWS Support deals.
The ideal candidate will be able work cross-collaboratively with upstream and downstream stakeholder teams, manage multiple program and initiatives at one time, and have a proven track record creating and executing on a content strategy that drives awareness, increases adoption, and enables sellers throughout their journey with customers.
This is a global role that will include interaction with teams in countries outside of the United States, requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively.
Key job responsibilities
• Capture repeatable sales motions from support experts as a mechanism to scale through packaged content, prescriptive guidance, and tailored delivery/communications to field teams
• Create content and Bill of Material standards to drive consistency for seller productivity
• Enable seller self-service in preparation for customer discussions across the sales lifecycle
• Create a consistent internal communications strategy across channels and foster field global community engagement
• Use data, including regular seller feedback, to drive content strategy and to measure effectiveness of content initiatives
• Evaluate where improvements can be made in content strategy and develop innovative and creative content solutions to drive seller success
• Support the launch of support solutions through the creation of content, prescriptive guidance, and enablement resources

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years combination of direct sales, sales operations, enablement, program management, or consulting experience with increasing influence and responsibility.
- 4+ years of program/project management experience, including leading complex initiatives with multiple inputs and multiple stakeholders in matrixed operational environments.
- Prior experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strategic thinker able to distill broad visions and concepts into actionable structured plans, execute and deliver benefits, and institute metrics to evaluate impact
- Must be comfortable understanding global business needs and positioning solutions with sales and business stakeholders across multiple functional domains (e.g., sales, technical, operations, marketing, etc)
- Ability to assimilate to the team culture, and self-manage in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Entrepreneurial skills with experience implementing new projects and concepts within organizations, working closely with senior level cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated project ownership and consistent delivery on commitments
- Experience using sales or customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce.com and various content/knowledge management systems
- Knowledge of Highspot and other sales enablement technology tools ideal

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
