Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,000+ satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join Project Kuiper's ground infrastructure services team, where you'll develop scalable data pipelines, APIs, and tools that process geospatial data to guide critical network deployment decisions. In this role, you'll work with a collaborative team to transform complex spatial data into actionable insights that directly impact where and how we deploy ground infrastructure to maximize coverage for underserved communities worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
* Design and implement data pipelines for processing geospatial data from various sources

Within ground infrastructure services, our geospatial team provides the location intelligence foundation that guides Kuiper's terrestrial infrastructure deployment. We transform complex spatial data into actionable insights, helping teams determine where to build ground stations, optimize coverage areas, and plan network deployment. Through our data-driven solutions and analytical tools, we enable informed decision-making for infrastructure investments across the globe. As we scale, you'll work with a collaborative team of geospatial experts to develop the next generation of tools and systems that support Kuiper's expanding ground presence.
