AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Our team within AWS is responsible for delivering data center capacity at a global scale. We're looking for an individual to dive deep into our data, refine it and our data processes, identify opportunities and drive alignment between our many global teams.
You'll work with a team of Business Intelligence Engineers, Program Managers, Cost Engineers, Construction Managers and Business leaders across the globe to help us improve the way we build data centers (cost, quality, schedule, resources, etc.).

Key job responsibilities
- Access, clean and maintain data integrity.
- Identify data quality root causes and propose solutions.
- Work across teams to drive data quality improvements.
- Create mechanisms that flag erroneous data or data outliers.
- Meet with key stakeholders to understand root causes of data outliers.
- Utilize data to identify opportunities for our business to improve.
- Propose data-driven solutions/processes that improve Level of Effort (LOE), schedule, cost, visibility, quality, etc.
- Help to create databases with historical data.
- Support program and project team initiatives by analyzing proposals.
- Create and maintain open communication mechanisms to drive visibility of team initiatives.
- Create and maintain reports for key business metrics.
- Assist teams in Lessons Learned and goal setting.
- Lead initiatives to automate data processes that are currently manual.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- 2+ years working in the commercial construction industry, preferably in data center construction.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Project Management certification
