We are looking for a Program Manager you will own the end-to-end scope, management, and delivery of scalable programs. Operating in a fast-moving environment, your goal will be to improve efficiency to delight customers. You will interact with both technology and business leaders across the organization at all levels. The successful candidate has solid program manager background and experience with industry standards. You will drive consensus among stakeholders and verify that controls are effective, or remediated to become effective. We value personality, insight, flexibility, and sound business judgment.
Key job responsibilities
- Apply NIST, DOD, and other standards, policies and regulations when executing your programs.
- Defining projects and features, collecting requirements, and communicating results throughout the organization.
- Drive the delivery of critical business initiatives and manage all aspects of multiple work-streams (e.g. planning, requirements, and communications).
- Support the triage, review, tracking, and remediation of open issues within multiple ticketing queue systems.
- Liaise with Audit, PxT, Legal, and various Security teams to support the various compliance programs.
- Balance and prioritize daily tasks across multiple programs, within the agreed upon service level agreements and expected completion dates.
- Assist in evaluating new compliance programs and requirements and help transition ongoing operations of all compliance programs to long-term control owners within the organization.
- Evaluate the existing programs to create new solutions, lower costs, enhance efficiency, improve the reliability of monitoring compliance-related information, and drive scalable solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automated solutions within the AWS service environment.
- Assist in developing and validating the Compliance Operations Strategy and identify program gaps and recommend solutions to address these.
A day in the life
In this role, you will work directly with audit, legal, PxT, and Security teams implementing and scaling monitoring and screening programs to ensure our employees and teams are adhering to customer and compliance requirements. You will work across the assessment organization as needed within our control frameworks, including but not limited to SOC, ISO, FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA and privacy requirements.
Additional work will include, but is not limited to:
• Coordinating with Audit Program Managers and other security teams
• Scaling programs via partnerships with Engineering and People and Technology
• Providing suggested uplift for evidence and screening requirements
• Working with internal and external auditors
• Creating success and operational metrics
• Developing status reporting, metrics, runbooks, training, and wiki pages.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
