The scope of projects will include, but is not limited to, the improvement of electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems. Key job responsibilities
- Apply non-destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all data center critical systems including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, building automation, structural, and all other equipment that supports the critical operation.
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site.
- Remain cognizant of and act in compliance with all security protocols.
- Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management on a daily basis.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
- Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up.
- Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Provide support for planned and unplanned outages.
- Provide cross-functional support for services teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations (e.g., hospitals, military installations, public safety facilities, or equivalent environments), or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a relevant technical discipline from an accredited institution, coupled with military or trade school training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing operations of mission-critical facilities, requiring in-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Substantial work experience in a critical environment, preferably with data center operations exposure.
- Proficiency in identifying safety concerns and maintaining a secure work environment in compliance with NFPA 70E guidelines.
