We are looking for an experienced senior graphic designer with national or global creative design experience executing with the ability to work within creative guidelines, follow creative processes and familiar with brand marketing and social media channels. The right candidate will possess a passion for creative services, design and understands how to execute quickly against creative deliverables in a timely fashion. You must have previous graphic design experience, demonstrate ability to visually story-tell, follow production guidelines, and help ideate, design, and elevate creative assets (online and offline assets). This role will inspire the visual identity of our brand, helping to create our brand’s personality and style. You will build creative consistency and partner with the Creative Director on all creative deliverables, road-mapping and strategy.
The Sr. Graphic Designer will help with the visual design of SPC products and services look-and-feel by developing creative assets across online and offline channels – including but not limited to social media, digital, print, video, etc. The candidate will partner with other cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure a unified creative experience at the direction of the Creative Director. This person will influence creative decisions, executive creative initiatives, and will be responsible for designing, managing, and auditing assets.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for: (but not limited to)
• Designing graphics for SPC marketing, content production, marketing campaigns, events, any SPC cross-functional marketing needs, etc.
• Responsible for building out the creative briefs and following the creative in-take process
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, copywriters, agencies and business partners to deliver creative results
• Reviewing creative to identify opportunities and implement creative improvements
• Working with internal/external stakeholders to drive creative scheduling/calendars/timelines/managing creative pipelines, roadmaps and workflow
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of design experience (with an agency or in-house team)
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Creative, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
- A current online portfolio for review
- Strong Attention to detail/ working with Creative briefs
- Understanding of production best practices for print and digital mediums
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of creative design experience working with global brands and/or ad agencies
- Master’s degree Design, Creative or related fields
- Proven ability to influence and obtain buy-in for creative ideas
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – visual storytelling experience
