The vision of Inclusive Experiences & Technology (IXT), within PXT, is to create inclusive experiences for our worldwide base of employees, customers, and communities. Born Inclusive is a new program with the IXT Product & Technology team that will provide the tools, processes, and metrics to enable product, engineering, user experience, and science teams across Amazon to easily build inclusion into products that exist already, as well as into everything that they create, so every new product from Amazon is born inclusive. It is truly Day 1 as we build our Product & Engineering organization from the ground up. We are rolling our sleeves up to bring this vision to life, demonstrating ownership, bias for action and humility in all that we do. No job is below any member of the team, and we partner closely with each other, across IXT/PXT and Amazon to realize our mission. We are customer obsessed, working backward from customer needs in everything we do.
We seek a talented Technical Program Manager who is looking for the next opportunity to innovate, build, and learn, delivering software solutions end-to-end and at scale. In this role, you must combine your technical and project management / PMO skills to deliver cross-functional initiatives. You want to work on initiatives that are high-visibility, require high leadership judgement, creative thinking and technical problem solving. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, and are energized by a fast-growing team that needs you.
You are highly organized, communicate roadmaps clearly and transparently, and relish getting things done in a structured and controlled manner. You earn trust with stakeholders across organizations by understanding their challenges and partnering to prioritize and deliver capabilities that solve problems at scale. You will understand risks, issues, blockers and show strong bias for action in resolving these to ensure the success of our program. You will succeed in these endeavors by combining your technical experience with your ability to listen to, learn from, and communicate with a diverse group of collaborators. You hold our team, as well as partner teams, accountable and to high standards; you have a “whatever it takes” attitude about delivering results. You have demonstrated experience with technical program management in software development, from scoping/writing requirements, testing, CI/CD, technical design review and operational excellence.
This is a rare opportunity to leave the world better than you found it by creating the tools that shape the future of inclusive experiences at Amazon. Apply now!
