We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager who is a high-judgment, business-oriented, and self-motivated professional. This is a highly visible role internally and externally, that will work closely with teams across the company to propel initiatives designed to support and amplify the growth of Black-owned and underrepresented businesses. The candidate will think big to develop new ideas and creative approaches that enable the delivery of the Amplify program at scale.
The ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication skills, and is comfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders. They will lead the planning, development, and execution of training and resources to support internal and external partners ramping quickly to support the Amplify program. They will regularly analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop sustainable solutions to improve the seller experience. They will earn trust, and utilize their attention to detail and experience in program management to ensure high-quality results.
Key job responsibilities
• Oversees, develops, and evaluates cohort-based programming within USBA to increase opportunities for Black-owned and other undiscovered businesses selling on Amazon.
* Develops, tests, and pilots net-new modalities to provide education to undiscovered business populations engaged in cohort-based programming.
• Oversees learning and development strategies to support internal cross-departmental partnerships.
*Develops strategies to reduce cost-to-serve at scale.
• Plans and executes reoccurring program engagement opportunities.
• Provides key data and insights to inform education curriculum development workstreams.
• Tracks and reports program learnings and impact to internal stakeholders.
• Looks around corners to spot emerging issues, and proactively leads the development and execution of program improvements.
• Works with key internal and external stakeholders, to identify, drive, and scale solutions that benefit Black-owned and other undiscovered businesses.
• Advocates on behalf of selling partners and influences product roadmaps to improve the overall experience of businesses within the program.
About the team
The Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) team works to help selling partners and customers discover the best of Amazon using data and insights to invent, test, and scale strategies that drive financial and perception goals. We understand there are systemic barriers that have limited the education and access for underserved business to grow and scale within Amazon. The BBA Amplify team is committed to addressing those systemic barriers by providing Black and underrepresented businesses with access to education, business coaching, opportunities for strategic capital, and networks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- 4+ years of program or project management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
