The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, and facility operations for Amazon’s corporate office portfolio across multiple countries. As a Senior Manager on GREF’s Business Partnering (GBP) team, you will serve as the lead business partner (BP) for Amazon’s Worldwide Stores organizations, working with senior leaders of Stores teams, including Retail, eCommerce Foundation, Operations, Selling Partner Services, Grocery, and Amazon Health. This role is the lead point of contact for all GREF matters related to these teams.
This role is the node that connects Amazon’s Stores business globally to all of GREF’s services and programs, requiring a high-degree of cross-functional collaboration. The role serves two primary functions: 1/ identify and reduce defects pertaining to Stores’ corporate real estate so that we may improve GREF’s ability to scale; and 2/ elevate the influence of GREF’s suite of products and programs within Stores to provide greater customer experience and efficiencies.
The optimal candidate is an experienced BP who excels in an entrepreneurial culture, building trust quickly. They have a strong mastery of the range of challenges within corporate real estate. They have vision, strong leadership and communication skills, and excel at building and maintaining relationships with C-Suite executives. The successful candidate will be able to dive deep and deliver on behalf of the customer when dealing with ambiguity.
The role will implement real estate and workplace reporting mechanisms to support Amazon leaders with the data, analytics, and insights necessary to inform their business goals and spend approvals.


Key job responsibilities
• Partner across enterprise partners (e.g., Finance, PXT, Public Relations, Legal, Security, etc.), all cross-functional GREF real estate teams, Corporate FP&A, and Public Policy to support executive leaders in managing through ambiguity while inspecting and understanding the consequences of choices and trade-offs.
• Manage and develop a team of BP support resources.
• Build systems and tracking mechanisms to deliver agreed upon SLAs.
• Establish rhythm of business for each org, integrating GREF into business-level budget planning process and business review cadences.
• Implement reporting mechanisms to support Stores leaders with data, analytics, metrics and research to drive data-based decisions.
• Balance Stores’ expectations and needs with Amazon fiduciary stewardship, as well as cost savings mandates and GREF =best practices.
• Lead and support the development and delivery of executive-level real estate presentations, recommendations, and business cases; incorporate input from GREF teams to secure decisions and alignment for those presentations.
• Partner with GREF teams and external stakeholders to drive the successful development, implementation, and execution of GREF strategies across organizations and regions.
• Provide thought leadership, industry best practices and market insights to leadership to inform recommendations and decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with delivering executive level presentations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
